Early Latin Writings is part of the Early Writings family of website, along with Early Christian Writings, Early Jewish Writings, and the soon to be released Early Greek Writings. It is storehouse of information writings in Latin from its inception as a literary language down to the Christian era. It for now covers all the major works of the Roman republic and early empire, with many more in store for the future.
The primary author and editor in chief of these pages is Chris Weimer, who constructs the bibliographies, ensures historical accuracy and academic standards, oversees the overall editorial direction of the website, and coordinates with copy editors. He is also the primary webmaster, so any problems should be directed at him. He has an MA in Classics from SFSU and an MPhil in Classics from The Graduate Center, CUNY, where is finishing his dissertation.
